The ability to judge well
If nothing else, the events of the last few months are a reminder of the value of discernment.
I don’t know about you, but I prefer making informed decisions. I check my sources and validate new information before embracing it. Sometimes I end up doing more research than required.
Currently, I’m struggling to understand how anyone can believe anything from Q, an anonymous source posting on an obscure internet message board, but apparently thousands do. Of course, there are people amplifying the message in support of their conspiracy theories. But, why do seemingly educated people believe any of this stuff?
Hold that thought, because this brings us to an interesting question.
What’s the source of our Judeo-Christian beliefs about God? And, how different is it from Q?
The Bible is a collection of writings from an obscure group of people that lived on the margins of the Egyptian and Roman Empires.
